Having knee pain can make you feel so anxious

  • You worry about going down stairs without your knee giving away

  • You worry about going for a walk/ run (Runners Knee, Patellofemoral syndrome or Iliotibial band syndrome) or f45 class without your knee pain coming back and having to limp home or barely being able to move the following morning

  • You worry that there is some serious damage (Osteoarthritis or a meniscal tear), you may have torn your meniscus and you maybe doing further damage

Maybe you’ve just hurt your knee playing basketball (jumper's knee), touch, rugby, soccer or during a race. Wondering whether this is serious? will this go away on its own? or you are in serious pain? maybe you only have 3 weeks until your race and needs to be fixed asap!

Let's be honest when you have knee pain you're not the happiest person to be around and you tend to snap when normally you wouldn’t.

Partly because you feel older than you are and partly because you can’t go for a walk, run or your fave yoga or f45 class without worrying whether you will get through it or wake up the following morning crippled.

You might be frustrated because you’ve been going to osteo, chiro or your physio for months now…

Initially there may have been change or improvement, however now it isn’t getting better, or may even be getting worse...

The adjustments, orthotics, machines, hot packs or exercises just aren’t cutting it!

You're no doubt sick of throwing money at this knee injury and are close to just accepting “this is just the way I have to feel for life”

For the first 5 years i worked in the generic Sports Physio clinic, where there was 20 mins max of quality one on one time, The rest of the time people were on placebo machines/ hot packs, doing exercises I couldn't correct as I was too busy chasing my tale.

I felt like I wasn't helping my patients. I knew they wouldn’t come back better as I just didn’t have the quality one on one time to properly help people.

I studied the Connect Therapy approach of looking at the whole body (rather than only looking at the painful area) and listening to everyone's unique story rather than treating every person like a recipe.

I opened my own practice 8 years ago and decided to extend our consults to an hour or 45 mins for follow ups of one on one quality time.

No machines, no dodgy exercises I wasn’t watching! I recruited the very best Physios from the Connect Therapy advanced courses who were as passionate about Connect therapy and more importantly about helping people get their confidence back, their happiness back, their exercise regime back and to move better than they ever have before!

I get that trying a new Sydney CBD Physio or trusting a new health professional who you aren’t convinced can help is daunting so I've developed this no brainer offer:

The BIM  $80 off 1 hour assessment and treatment.  If you have a health fund this will be significantly cheaper!

Here is what you get:

  • A full comprehensive listening of your knee pain story so we can understand what injuries you have had in the past, what you do for a job, how much you have been training and loads of other questions because believe it or not an injury you had 20 years ago can still influence your knee pain! (yes mums this includes having children!)

  • A screening of the tasks you are having trouble with eg running, walking or sitting. We will assess your whole body through these tasks as more times than not the painful area is not the cause of the problem!

  • A screening of your posture in standing to see if this is affecting your injury or pain

  • A diagnosis of the true cause of your knee pain.

  • A diagnosis of what is causing your back pain to help you understand why you are in pain and where it is coming from.

  • A plan to solve your problem and a time frame with which we can do it so you don’t have to keep coming back for life.

  • Knee Pain treatment in the form of physio back treatment “hands on” techniques or dry needling

  • Arthritis knee treatment and meniscus tear treatment in the form of exercises to avoid further injury for arthritis  that are filmed on your phone so you have access for life

Access to our patient facebook group where you can ask as many questions as you want and one of our expert physios will always be able to answer your questions (normally $100 for the year)

Now at the end of your assessment and treatment if you aren’t happy at all with the service you received, we will give you a full refund no questions asked.

This is normally valued at $160 plus $100 for facebook group access.

Book now to get one of 5 sessions this week. If you book in the next 24 hours we will also throw in a massage ball or resistance band depending on what you need to do your home exercise program

PLEASE MENTION THE BIM $80 OFF DEAL ON THE PHONE OR WRITE IT IN THE NOTES SECTION IF YOU ARE BOOKING ONLINE :)

“makes you feel safe and taken care of”

"I couldn’t walk and now I can run, all after 2 months of physiotherapy sessions with Sam! Sam is the best and the most professional physiotherapist I ever met, he is having extreme intuition and ‘I-can-help-you’ attitude, that makes you feel safe and taken care of. I love the fact that even though I suffered an injury he didn’t forbid sports activities, but adjust them to my condition! Sam is amazing person and I can sincerely recommend sessions with him. Balance in Motion City Physio is lucky to have him! Also, many thanks to Zoe from the reception for her smile and cheerful attitude! "

“So intuitive and caring in their approach”

"Nick C and Gina are absolutely amazing. So intuitive and caring in their approach. I've seen a lot of physios for multiple sporting injuries over the years and there are a lot of people out there that should NOT be putting their hands on anyone. I would trust these guys with my life. Top class in personality and professionalism. These guys are a level above the rest. After years of sub-optimal treatments I finally found therapists who can actually fix dysfunction. Nick C is particularly good on ankles, knees and running injuries. Highly recommended"

“Lindel is an excellent physio.”

"Lindel is an excellent physio. I like the holistic approach taken to find the root and source of your problem and fix any issues permanently. Out of hours appointments are always available and the team are friendly and their experience of dealing with sports injuries while allowing you to continue training is awesome."

— Melanie

“Gina's dry needling and massage is amazing”

"Gina is awesome. Having been suffering from suspected sciatica for about two years, I finally decided to see a physio and I'm so glad I did. Gina is hugely knowledgeable and over the course of three sessions I have felt such a big improvement, with significantly returned feeling where before I had numbness. Gina's dry needling and massage is amazing, and he's recommended exercises which seem to have really worked."

— Hannah

“always greeted with a warm welcome”

"Hands down the best Physio in the east! The team always go above and beyond to make sure my experience is 110%. Always squeezing me in for an appointment when I am in serious need and relieving me of all my pain and niggles, I am extremely grateful. Added bonus that you are always greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel at ease. I would recommend this physio to anyone who feels the need to have something checked."

— Isabella

“super professional and friendly”

"These guys are always super professional and friendly, but most importantly always get to the actual root and cause of your problem, rather than just look at the main resulting injury. Have sent loads of friends to them, would always recommend!"

— Stephanie

helped me achieve my biggest exercise and fitness goal without being hindered by pain.

"Gina’s ability to immediately get to the root of a physical problem (no matter how complex) and provide effective and thorough treatment is unmatched.
In years of playing sport and managing injuries, I have never met a therapist in this space who has sorted me out so quickly and helped me achieve my biggest exercise and fitness goals without being hindered by pain."

The Balance In Motion Sydney City Physio clinic is our exciting new addition, giving us the space to help more people than we can at our fully booked Bondi clinic. Our expansion was also influenced by our patients begging “When are you moving to the city? I can’t get an appointment in Bondi soon enough”. Peer pressure won and we are now open in the best part of Sydney City. People are loving shooting out of the office for a City Physio session rather than racing to Bondi in an Uber for their Physiotherapy session.

All rooms in our Sydney CBD Physio clinic are private and large and there are no curtains for the world to hear your issues. We believe privacy helps people really open up. This helps us help you really solve your problem. We are different from all the ‘factory physio’ clinics. You know the ones with the old school machines, curtains and treating multiple people at once and no attention really focused on you.  We focus solely on treating you and we genuinely want to help you to get better quickly. Having sole focus on you for longer than normal Physio sessions is the fastest way to achieve you being pain free and doing what you love. Without worrying whether your body is going to let you down ….again.

Our Macquarie Street Physio clinic is located across the road from the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden, directly over the road from Chifley Square (we are on the corner with Hunter Street) and a 3 minute walk from Martin Place (300 metres), our beautiful new space is twice the size of our Bondi clinic with plenty of bright natural light!
